Drinking And Holding 32 Oz Of Water Before My Ultrasound.
I am really happy that my 20 week ultrasound is finally coming. I am however nervous about drinking all the water that I am supposed to. I am already having trouble with a leaky bladder, and I'm afraid that I won't be able to hold it. Is it really necessary to drink all that water before my ultrasound?

from my own experience its not necessary, first coz your whomb is already full, and the placenta is there full of water what is something that helps the untrasound capture the image easily, i think the water is just needed when you are not pregnant and for some reasons you need to do a ultrasound. I wish you a great time when your ultrasound time arrives.

Well, its a general advise given by doctors to intake more water before an ultrasound, this is mainly for your good, so that during ultrasound the baby can be seen clearly moving within the bowl of liquid which makes it easier for the doctors to see the positions of the baby clearly. So dont worry, you can take as much liquid as you can. But it is better to drink more water before ultrasound for better assessment of the position of the baby.

YES INDEED YOU HAVE TO DRINK AS MUCH AS WATER BEFORE YOUR ULTRASOUND SO AS TO PREVENT THE FURTHER COMPLICATIONS THAT YOU WILL BE FACING FURTHER.BUT IF YOU REALLY CANNOT HOLD IT DUE TO YOUR LEAKY BLADDER YOU CAN REDUCE SOME OF IT'S AMOUNT.BUT DRINK ATLEAST SEVENTY-FIVE PERCENT OF IT.
