Preparing For Baby Week By Week
|
I am trying to get organized in preparation for my little angel's arrival. I am on 7 weeks along, but from what people tell me, the time passes very quickly. I want to break down preparations and spread them out so that I don't get overwhelmed. How can I organize everything that needs to get done for my baby week by week?

Monday 15th of March 2010 06:29:18 AM Hi there, and you can try set up a list of things to do, and get a pregnancy guide, that will show you the changes and your baby developing, so thats a great way to find out and think about the things you must been done during the weeks to get ready and enjoying the pregnancy changes, and the obstetrician will give you a list of things to been done for your baby like tests that you must do to check if everything is okay with you and your baby. Good lucky dear. Cheers.

Friday 19th of March 2010 11:50:41 PM Your mom Can helpyou in this regard if she is not with you then be assured what you were feeling was normal and all of the women having a baby went through it too. Dear Everything you would need to know would come to you naturally. However I did Share one piece of advice is that “the best thing you can do is get organized.” You should keep your life in order to have to ramp up the organization skills.
Secondly i am providing you some basics also.
Remember that you and your baby will grow and adapt incredibly quickly. Just as you get used to one phase, you'll be rocketed into another.
Practice asking for help. Most friends and family say "call me if there's anything you need!"--and they mean it. You'll do yourself and them a favor by actually asking for what you need. The trick is to figure out what sort of task is best for each person--one may be just dying to hold your baby for an hour while another loves to cook and someone else would happily feed your roses.
Buy diapers/wipes, diaper bag, glider, clock, rug, sweats, pads
Pack bag for hospital (diaper, going home outfits (girl/boy) one hospital outfit, socks, mittens, hats, receiving blankets for swaddling. Maternity shirt. Toothbrush, hair brush.
Install car seat when it arrives.
Be aware that breast-feeding is often not quite as "natural" as you may have expected. If you are having trouble breastfeeding, contact the La Leche League (lalecheleague.org) or a lactation consultant.

Friday 19th of March 2010 07:33:07 AM Be normal, nothing to organize and it would be of no use, because at that time what is necessary would be taken care off pre planning generally does not work. Mainly be aware of the seasons, and arange your clothings and clothings for your arrival as per the need, that would solve most of the problems of the day, later you can jointly plan and get things done as per the requirment of the day. Only if you are located in a remote locality then you have to preplan therwise it is generally not required. Enjoy your pregnancy instead of wasting your time on these things, other would take off while things proceed.
