Is There A Chance Of Conceiving During Your Period?
My boyfriend tried to tell me that you can't get pregnant if you have your period. I think he's misinformed or making things up. Is conceiving possible if you are menstruating?

its is possible to conceive during your period time, many people think the changes are small but they are not right about how they think, so the best advise is for the yes or no lets use protections during the period as well to avoid some unwated results. but you are absolutely righjt your boyfriend is completly wrong to believe there are no risks to get pregnant during your period.

Yes, conception during your period and even during pregnancy is possible. From what I understand, is that there is always one available ovary during your period open to conception. I cannot explain exactly how this is possible but, I was told it was possible when I had one of my children which, I believe, may have been conceived that way.

You are very correct. You can get preganant while you are menstruating. My daughter who is now 37 weeks along conceived my first grandson while she was on her period. There is a window when you can possibly have sex and not get pregnant. Yhis window is usually the 3 days after you stop menstruating. I didn't take birth control pills at all during my bearin years and this was the method my husband and I used when our three children were conceived. It is best to use protection all the time because our bodies are each different in their development. What works for one person may not work for another.
