How Long Should I Wait To Try For Another Pregnancy After Miscarriage?
|
I had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago and I am thinking about trying again. I'm sad about the loss, but my husband is taking it really hard, too. I think he feels that it is somehow his fault because he is 41. I think it would be healing for both of to try to move on. How many cycles should I wait before I try again for pregnancy after miscarriage?

Monday 8th of March 2010 11:51:28 AM The average of three months or three menstrual cycles is the right time to wait before you become pregnant again. Within this period you and your husband shall take time to heal emotionally and you uterine lining will rebuild itself.

Sunday 28th of February 2010 07:56:20 AM If you had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago and you are still strong and healthy, and you are thinking about trying for another pregnancy, then go on. There is nothing wrong about that and there is no health implication about it since you are strong and healthy.
If your husband feels that it's his fault because he is 41, that is wrong. At 41, he is still strong, virile, fertile and of course potent. Miscarriage is can happen to anybody and is caused by so many reasons.

Friday 12th of March 2010 07:24:15 AM I'm sorry to hear about what happened to you, usualy the doctors advise is wait at least 2 cicles after the miscarriage to start try again. so if you said that you suffered this miscarriage 6 weeks ago you already have runned the time that is usualy advised tp be waited. now its up to you to choose when is the right time to back to try, good lucky.
