Pregnancy Information In My Daughter's Room.
|
I went into my daughter's room to collect laundry and found a whole packet on pregnancy information. I'm not the snoopy type, but I have to admit I went through it. I don't know what to do. She's only 14. I don't know if it was from a class at school or if she has it because she is pregnant. How do I approach her about the pregnancy information that I found?

Tuesday 16th of March 2010 12:40:31 PM Simply be relax & be friendly with her. trust on her & ask her abt in general that what she knows about pregnancy or conceiving a baby. what she tells or share you might give you an idea whether she is pregnant or not. Or may you have the chance that she herself disclose herself in front of you.
Second the best way is to check her routine what she is behaving if it is as same as routine then no need to get worry.

Wednesday 17th of March 2010 04:30:22 PM Well ask yourself, where did you find the information? Was it in clear view for anyone walking into her room to see or was it obviously hidden? Chances are it could very well have come from class, but if not she may be feeling fearful about telling you if she is pregnant. the best thing you can do to resolve the issue quickly either way is to ask her about it in a non-accusatory and open manner. You can assume it is from class, tell her you saw it in her room and are they doing pregnancy awareness at school as though you are really interested. if thats all it is she will tell you about it, if not she may get uncomfortable and try to avoid your eyes or may even spill the beans.

Friday 12th of March 2010 06:59:59 AM the best way to approach is be direct to the point that you need to ask. Call her for a friendly talk, talk about it in a easy way, all will depend about how you start the conversation about pregnancy. Teenagers are easily intimidated specialy when they are scary or about unknow questions, and if you get to find the best friendly way that does not seems like a pressure time, she will answer what you need to know.
