I'm Looking For Pregnancy Facts.
|
I have a teenage son who thinks he knows all the pregnancy facts he needs to know. I happen to know that he is 16 and clueless. Where can I find a quick, but graphic, list of pregnancy facts to share with Mr. Bigstuff?

Thursday 18th of March 2010 03:16:51 PM Information such as this can be found in any good book store. However, if your son is sixteen and feels he knows all about it he may not want to read a book. If you have a friend that is an attorney or if you have one have him put you in touch with a couple of sixteen year old boys that are experiencing fatherhood and interview them as to how it feels to be responsible for someone not too much younger than you. Have them explain the cost, the alienation of family and friends, the heartbreak of no longer being able to go to parties and school events because he has to work to contribute to the baby's upbringing. He will see things in a different light. Sure, he knows all about it but not first hand.

Friday 19th of March 2010 01:33:59 AM Well, for a son (male) to know something about pregnancy would not be right for his age. But you need not inform this thing to him, but by postponing a bit by diverting his mind and activities on some other things. Later when you feel that he is fit to know more things about pregancy you can guide him by informing him the real facts of pregnancy, there are good books available for this purpose which would be of immense use.
