Is It Spotting During Early Pregnancy Or A Really Light Period.
I am wondering if I am having spotting during early pregnancy or if I just had an extremely light period. I am 16 and sexually active. My period should have come a week ago but all I had was a little light spotting. I can't afford a pregnancy test until I get paid in 2 days. I've read that there is such a thing as implantation spotting. Could I be experiencing this spotting during early pregnancy?

In general, there are a couple of situations during pregnancy in which spotting isn’t a cause for concern. The first is during implantation. During the first seven to ten days of your pregnancy, you may experience some spotting as the fetus attaches itself to the uterine wall. However, most women don’t even know that they’re pregnant during this stage and may dismiss any spotting as a normal part of menstruation. You may also experience some spotting if you overextend yourself during the first month or two of pregnancy. You should report any occurrence of pregnancy spotting to your doctor immediately. He or she may place you on bed rest or simply tell you to take it easy until the spotting stops. Only ten percent of women who experience spotting miscarry, so there’s no cause for alarm until your doctor tells you to worry.

When you get pregnant, your curvix gets really thick and increased blood supply. If you are late and have had sex during your late days, it could be because you are pregnant and the bleeding is the result of intercourse. Get a pregnancy test now. If you can't afford one, go to the health department. Just make sure you tell them that you are more than 4 weeks late, or they will make you wait for the test. You need to let the guy know, he could pay for the pregnancy test.

get the periods during the pregnancy time is possible, some cases you can be pregnant and get a light spotting, or even get to have regular periods during the first trimester of pregancy. the best way to find out is doing the tests, using your first urine in the morning, those testes can notice the HCG hormone that we women produces, but when we are pregnant this hormone raise, and the test can detected. but if you get a negative result after do the test and if your period later still, get to repeat the test on the next week. if you want to make sure what is the real statment, get to check with your doctor the blood tests are always more sure than the tests you buy in the pharmacy.
