Experiencing Cramping During Pregnancy
I'm concerned about my cramping during pregnancy. I am 8 weeks along, and from time to time, I'm having cramps that feel like menstrual cramps. I haven't had any bleeding or anything. All my other symptoms like fatigue and frequent urination haven't changed. Do a lot of women have cramping during pregnancy?

abdominal pain and some discomfort is normal during the pregnancy, but do not try disgnose yourself, the best person that can advise you and check if your cramping is normal is your doctor. if your abdonimal pain does not pass after you rest, and if it is annoying you don't ignore it at all, because its normal as long as our belly and body is changing that we get to suffer some cramps but we need to see what comes together with the abdominal pain to find out if all is okay. hope I have helped.

Yes all women have to face different kinds of cramping during their pregnancy: There are a number of reasons you might have cramping during different stages of pregnancy, and they are as: Many women experience a pain which is similar to their period pain during the first weeks and this is usually caused when implantation takes place. More common during the second trimester, as the muscles which are supporting your growing uterus stretch as also produce cramp. Not uncommon for women to experience false labor during the third trimester. This is caused by the muscles in the uterus preparing for labor as they stretch and release, often. If you are suffering from gas, then there is a good chance that you may experience some cramping. Of course the same would apply if you were constipated. In the last remaining weeks of your pregnancy cramping is usually an indication that labor will start soon.

Cramping during pregnancy can be very scary, but is actually quite common during pregnancy. You may have experienced some early cramping before you even knew you were pregnant due to implantation; when the egg implanted itself on the uterine wall. The cramping you are experiencing at eight weeks may be due to your muscles and ligaments relaxing and getting prepared to stretch to accommodate your uterus. Another reason you may be cramping is due to excessive gas or either constipation or diarrhea. These tend to be increased during pregnancy and can make you cramp. Have you been experiencing any of these things? Although some cramping is normal, it could possibly be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage. You said you have not had any bleeding, so right now it sounds as if your symptoms are normal. If you experience any bleeding or your cramping becomes severe, contact your doctor immediately!
