Pregnancy For Single Mothers
I am looking for a pregnancy support resources for my 20 year old daughter. She is a very independent woman, and I have faith she can do this, but I'm afraid that there are feelings or needs that she is hiding from me. I respect her privacy, but I would like to provide her with some ideas of places she can go to talk to professionals and peers if she isn't comfortable coming to her father or me. I hope she comes to me, but if not, who can I send her to for pregnancy support if she needs it?

You may try talking to her friends. If you can't get through your daughter, you may try asking her friends what she's been telling them about her present feelings and needs. Sometimes,as a mother, you can already sense what it is that is bugging your daughter. You can just do some trial and error by giving her sweet notes, letters, and gifts. But be careful not to offend or hurt her in any way because pregnant women are really emotional.A good ob-gyne is a big help for your daughter. There, she might even share her concerns about her pregnancy without much hesitations.
