Trying To Come Up With Any Questions On Pregnancy Info That I Should Ask My Dr.
|
I am really nervous about my first OB visit and I'm trying to compile a list of pregnancy info that he might be able to give me. I have a tendency to forget things when I am on the spot, so I want to have a written set of questions for him. Are there any particular pregnancy info questions that I should ask him while I'm there?

Sunday 7th of March 2010 05:40:02 AM You should ask for the things that you may or may not do during pregnancy. You must also ask about the changes you are feeling in your body whether they are normal or not. Ask when you will be knowing your child's gender. Ask also about your weight gain, and up to what weight are you allowed to gain.

Thursday 11th of March 2010 05:18:19 PM you should ask to your doctor about , what are the best foods you should have been consuming now during your pregnancy... what the foods and drinks you should avoid too, the best physical activities that you can do to make you stay healthy and make your body strong to carry on with your pregnancy, you could ask the pregnancy stages, ask about the exams and tests that you can do to check if your baby is developing normaly. and so on, you can keep looking what are your own doubts and see if you have some personal questions that you can do, basicaly the 1st appointment is the one where the doctor will set up and explains how to behave, and what is the pregnancy steps, and then he or she will ask you personal informations about your healthy and even family healthy statment, so based on those informaions you and your doctor can work and watch the pregnancy steps together... I wish you good lucky and great pregnancy time.

Tuesday 9th of March 2010 03:03:16 AM Yes, you can browse the net or read more books about pregnancy. Likewise, observe yourself, if there is something jot it down. Then, during your visit to your OB, you can consult it to her. Like with myself, I used to write down questions too. I suggest you maintain journal of your pregnancy where you can write your questions. In my pregnancy journal where my OB writes all the things I need, I tick post it for my questions. Once she opened my pregnancy book sometimes she can read my post it.
