Tuesday 16th of February 2010 05:42:30 AM There are many reason actually, one of them is that their sperm count is too low, second their sperm is not healthy enough to survive and ovulate an egg cell and third is that they are too tired and stressed to produce healthy sperm. On the other hand there are men who just can't really bear a child. The first three can still be resolved if you go to a doctor and have a work up

Tuesday 16th of February 2010 07:51:48 PM I had a friend who's husband was impotent. Their doctor said it could be hereditary. It runs in their family. Also, some diseases can result to impotency like sexually transmitted diseases that was untreated for years. There are cases like that especially if the STD was asymptomatic. Exposure to radiation also causes impotency.

Tuesday 16th of February 2010 10:30:26 PM I guess there are multiple reasons for that and only a gyna will be able to help you find the medical answeres to that. I know that in my case the pressure of having to make a baby does strange things to a man! Especially if it doesn't work out during the first few attempts. And yes, everybody will tell you to relax and it will happen but that is easier said then done, but it is true! Take your time and enjoy the babymaking process, less stress, more sperm, more change of a baby! Good luck!

Wednesday 17th of February 2010 06:05:31 AM Impotency is not just the physical side of the problem where a man does not get an erection and cannot perform the sexual act. It is also the lack of sperm in his semen which causes the problem. A physical examination will make it possible to diagnose what the real problem is and only then can it be treated.

Impotent is inability to engage in sexual intercourse because of an erectile dysfunction. The dysfunctions may be caused by Diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, blood circulation, prostate surgery, thyroid disorders and others. There are also some studies that shows impotency is also because of phychological factors and lifestyle.

Wednesday 17th of February 2010 06:10:33 AM The cause of impotence can be several things, some studies have abridged that tobacco can be a cause or hereditary factor also has the potential to be. Only a visit to a specialist to determine precisely why the individual is powerless is the best way to be considered.
