Enjoying My First Pregnancy
|
I am 28 and this is my first pregnancy. I want it to be as enjoyable as possible. I have just about bought every book on pregnancy that I can find, and I have dreamed up the perfect nursery theme, but now I want to do something for myself. Do you have any suggestions of comfort items that would help me relax during my first pregnancy?

MBW Friday 19th of February 2010 03:04:16 PM Congratulations! Now that you have put so much though and energy into the baby to come it is time to pamper the mommy to be a bit!
I would suggest buying a body pillow. As the pregnancy, progresses you will find this item will help you to sleep more easily, taking pressure off your back and other areas. Also, call your local spas and inquire about massages for mommies to be and call YMCA\'s or fitness centers and find out about prenatal yoga classes. You\'ll find these classes make you feel better, gain less weight, and you\'ll meet women who are going through the same changes you are!

Friday 5th of March 2010 11:18:34 AM When I was pregnant, I used to talk to my baby inside my womb which make me complete when he response by a kick. We listen to music together by sharing headset, one on my ears and one on my womb. Even inside the womb, we read aloud and watch movie together with him. I had story telling, too. I talked to him everything in life..everyday life..talking to him before going to work, having a meeting ... anything! And the exciting instance we experienced was during choosing name. We researched names and write down those we like. On my 7 months, I let him choose his name.. I talked to my baby inside the womb and told him that we are now giving him a name and he must choose by himself by a kick on my stomach. Then I mention name and waited for his kick, several names he does not response. When I mention Xavier, he kicks well. Now, my son now is a smart 3 year old. Pregnancy is enjoying..the secret is always talk to your baby even he is still inside your womb.

Saturday 6th of March 2010 06:36:43 PM i would recommend two things for sure - a V shaped pillow for back support when sitting, and to place under your bump and between the knees when sleeping to make life easier. The other thing i would recommend is a fanastic pair of shoes that are super comfortable. I know these aren't luxury items, but they are worth their weight in gold. Another thing is pregnancy specific bath oils that are good for relaxing in.

Wednesday 17th of March 2010 06:05:28 AM My mother used to say that during pregnancy the mother should always be relaxed and having fun with the pregnancy. I had a lot of fun carrying the baby in spite of all the hardship, pain and discomfort of carrying it all the way through. But to comfort myself I always have my classical music on whenever I am at home. It makes be relax and my baby.

Wednesday 3rd of March 2010 07:08:37 AM There are many things you can do for you: give pats itself, buy something new for you, use immersion baths with the salts that you like best, ride, finally do what you enjoy most.
