Missed Period Is My Only Pregnancy Sign.
I've missed my period and my home pregnancy test is positive, but I don't have any other pregnancy sign. By my last period, I should be 7 weeks along. Shouldn't something else be happening by now, is it common to only have 1 pregnancy sign halfway through the first trimester?

Every pregnancy is different. It is a myth that all women have morning sickness. Some women are nauseas morning, noon and night! Others experience indigestion, and others continue to have periods or light spotting throughout the pregnancy. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR YOU TO DO IS HAVE THE PREGNANCY CONFIRMED BY YOUR DOCTOR! Stress or other factors could be the cause of your missed period and if you took the home pregnancy test while ovulating, it could have given you a FALSE POSITIVE! You need to know for sure - for the health of you and your baby!

The symptoms of pregnancy are many and are never the same and differ from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy. There are cases where the woman feels she is not pregnant and has her menstrual period until 2 months pregnant and it is only after he discovers she is pregnant. Do not be alarmed, see your doctor regularly and enjoy the best of your pregnancy.

You don't have to worry if you have no signs of pregnancy. Not every pregnant women experience the signs of pregnancy. There are women who suffers the signs of pregnancy, but there are also who do not feel it at all. You are very lucky if you don't feel any of the pregnancy signs. Just have your regular check up with your doctor to be sure that the baby inside you is okay and healthy.

Surprisingly true, yes. Not all women experience all the symptoms during their first trimester. I had all the symptoms when I had my first and second daughter but nothing with my last child. In fact, aside from missing my period I never knew that I was really pregnant until the 12th week when I started having this craving of hating to see my husband. The smell and sight of him make me feel dizzy and nausea. And I get to wonder why until I went to my OB-gyn.

I understand your concern. Many people experience early pregnancy with little or no signs except a missed period. For that matter I have a friend who was pregnant for nearly six months with no signs at all but weight gain by the fifth month. Don't worry, but you can go get a physical exam by a doctor if you wish.
