Single Mom With Pregnancy Questions
|
I have so many pregnancy questions. My family isn't very happy that I am pregnant and single so I don't want to approach them with my questions, and when I am at the doctor's office, I get self-conscious and don't want to sound stupid. Where can I find answers to my pregnancy questions without feeling like I'm being judged?

Wednesday 3rd of March 2010 06:16:28 PM Google is an excellent tool to use, as is askjeeves.com and lost of baby websites such as www.babycentre.com will have question forums where you can find out virtually everything you need in relation to pregnancy. Don't feel silly talking to the Dr either - they are there to help and are used to dealing with patients who are nervous like yourself.

Wednesday 3rd of March 2010 06:57:42 AM The exact location is to ask your doctor. Do not be afraid or fear of your doctor think whatever because they are professionals who handle all kinds of situations and know how to tell when a person is silly and when not. It is very normal that is eager to get answer the questions you need to know and do not get family support to do it, do it with your doctor, poirque is the best person for that. Good luck.

Sunday 7th of March 2010 05:26:26 AM You can always join parenting forums such as parenting.com or united-parents.com. There, you can share anything that is going inside your mind. And everyone is willing to listen and give advice. You need not worry about them seeing you because you will be presenting yourself there in a virtual place. So, feel free to talk about it in any chance you may get. Also, it may help if you would consult or share it with a reproductive health worker. They are very well-trained regarding these maters, and those matters that are even worse than yours.

Sunday 14th of March 2010 03:15:10 AM Sometimes self-consciousness are part of you being pregnant others are worst. So there is nothing wrong with you asking several questions. Your obstetrician will welcome these question and your family as well. But just the same, there are several internet sites that you can check out. Use the keyword pregnancy and work around it in all of your search
