Wednesday 3rd of March 2010 11:21:19 AM As pigmentation is usual thing in the same way haor fall is a normal thing during during pregnancy. It is so because during this pregnancy period which is of nine monthes you are likely to be exposed to a lot of tension related to the small one.As you are a mother YOU HAVE THE INTUTION of what is baby doing right now and so you are in a constant thinking of it.For the hair fall treatment you can use various ayurvedic shampoos and conditioners.Try to avoid tablets.

Wednesday 3rd of March 2010 02:17:06 PM it is a very common problem during pregnancy for hair loss to occur...you will not go bald unless you have very thin hair to begin. the hair will regrow once you deliver. Sometimes using shampoo with zinc and selenium may help strengthen and regrow hair. other cause of hair loss other than stress is thyroid disease and this is usually monitored during pregnancy with routine testing.

Thursday 11th of March 2010 09:46:49 PM MY GRANDMOTHER USED TO SAY THE LESS YOU WASH YOU HAIR THE MORE IT GROW WHEN YOU ARE PREGNANT. THIS IS FUNNY BECAUSE I KNOW THAT THIS IS AFFECTED BY HIGH ESTROGEN LEVEL IN OUR BODY ESPECIALLY DURING PREGNANCY. ANYWAY, DON'T WORRY YOUR HAIR WILL RETURN WHEN YOU ARE BACK TO YOUR NORMAL SELF.

Friday 26th of February 2010 07:11:22 PM Most women find that pregnancy causes the hair to grow thicker, although a small number of women find the reverse is true. There isnt much you can do about it except take all recommended prenatal vitamins and eating a healthy diet. Dont tug at your hair either - you need to treat your hair like it was a precious piece of silk. Use weekly hot oil treatments - warm some olive oil and massage into scalp and hair. Leave an hour before washing out.
