Friday 26th of February 2010 07:07:52 PM Anaemia can cause many problems for you and your baby including heart palpitations, fainting and exhaustion as well as low birth weight babies and premature delivery. Even your baby may become anaemic and it can cause joint pain. You need to see your Ob who will do a blood test and if he thinks you need it - will arrange for iron injections or special tablets to take.

Thursday 11th of March 2010 09:32:22 PM YES BECAUSE THIS WILL AFFECT THE BABY AND PLACENTA. DURING PREGNANCY WE NEED AT LEAST FIFTY PERCENT MORE THAN THE USUAL IRON WE HAVE. IF YOU'RE TAKING UP MEDICINE FOR THESE IRON DEFICIENCY YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE GETTING ENOUGH. YOUR DOCTOR MUST ALWAYS BE AWARE OF THIS.

Wednesday 3rd of March 2010 11:16:05 AM No if you are taking the treatment of anaemia moreover it does not affect the pregnancy. In fact anaemia means lack of blood and blood plays an important part in pregnancy as the nutrients and food is supplied to the baby through mother's blood. So try to purify and increase your blood circulation by whatever means you can.

Tuesday 2nd of March 2010 06:18:45 AM Dear mother, anemia is extremely dangerous if not properly monitored by the physician. Talk to him, because only he can help lower the anemia and should take very Estier iron while pregnant and after pregnancy, while breastfeeding. Do not take any tablets without the advice of your doctor.
