Thursday 13th of May 2010 07:33:51 AM Unfortunately insomnia is one of the effect this pregnancy has.We all suffer from this, especially after first pregnancy trimester .
Try to relaxed yourself and avoid television in the evening, listen classical music, or event some holistic music, nature sounds. It will keep you calm and relaxed so the sleep will come.

Thursday 25th of February 2010 07:16:21 PM Try different sleep positions - don't sleep on your back or tummy as this can be uncomfortable. Try placing a pillow under your bump and one between your knees to give added support. Have a warm bath and hot milk before bedtime and try and relax. Also, if you are tired during the day, try and take regular naps to make up for lack of sleep. See your Dr if things don't improve.

Tuesday 2nd of March 2010 01:33:09 PM I often had problems sleeping when I was pregnant. I'm not sure if it is due to worry, hormones, or just your body getting ready for a crazy schedule when the baby comes. Try taking a nap once or twice a day. Use some relaxation techniques to help you rest. If you are most worried about getting enough sleep, try not to think about it. Even resting in bed without sleeping will help you as long as you are relaxed.

Wednesday 3rd of March 2010 06:02:01 AM Your doctor is right. Sometimes we worry too much and it takes us to sleep. Advise them to do some immersion baths with salts that are like, stroll, distracts himself as much as possible not to think about this concern. Which will see very positive results.

Tuesday 9th of March 2010 06:15:35 AM THAT'S NORMAL. I HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE WHEN I WAS ON MY 3RD CHILD. WHAT I DID EVERY NIGHT WAS THE YOGA-LIKE KIND OF SOOTHING THE BABY. I HAD ALL THE LIGHTS DIM, CLASSICAL MUSIC ON WHILE I DRINK LUKE WARM WATER. I SHOULD HAVE DRANK TEA BUT I DON'T WANT ANY CAFFEINE FOR MY BABY. AND IT WORK AS I CAN'T MY BABY MOVING, SHE FELL ASLEEP TOO.
