I have used a home test pregnancy kit twice. The test is positive on both the occasions. Is this test relaible & hundered percent accurate or should i reconfirm my pregnancy by other test?

Pregnancy tests are accurate to about 98-99%. This is true of both home tests and clinical tests done at the Dr's surgery. If you tested positive both times, then the possibility of being pregnant is very high. All pregnancy tests are checking for the presence of certain hormones which are only released by the body during pregnancy.

Most home pregnancy test kit are fairly active. If the same test proved positive on both occasions, then it's a good chance that you are pregnant.
If reconfirming your pregnancy by another test will put your mind at rest, then there would be no harm in doing such.
Keep in mind however, that your doctor will be able to provide a more accurate test at a later date.

If the tests were positively you are happy, because the test could be negatively but never positively when the pregnancy is absent.
So, you are definitely pregnant.The substances from test is activated only when the hormone of pregnancy from your urine is present.

No home pregnancy test is 100 percent. The fine print on the boxes they come in will tell you that. They are usually 99 percent or something close to that. Doctors will tell you to confirm your results and to not rely on home tests even though they are usually accurate. The most accurate test available is the blood test.

THERE ARE TIMES THAT THE RESULT ON PREGNANCY TEST ARE NOT RELIABLE AND ACCURATE IN VIEW OF SEVERAL REASONS SUCH AS CONTAMINATION OF THE URINE AND WRONG USAGE. BUT SINCE YOU HAD IT TWICE ALREADY YOU MOST PROBABLY HAVE DONE IT THE CORRECT WAY. NOW TO REALLY CONFIRM THIS IS TO GO TO YOUR DOCTOR FOR THE PREGNANCY TEST.
