Pregnancy Boosters
We are planning to have our first child. I have stopped my pill about a month & a half ago. I need to know if there are any pregnancy booster medicines available without doctor's prescription?

There aren't really booster pills, but there are special vitamin supplements known as prenatal vitamins that you should be taking to ensure that you are getting all the nutrients you need to support healthy body and brain development in an unborn child. Try pregnacare, sanatogen pronatal or the pharmacy own brand.

First of all, if you have been off the pill for one and a half months, you should know it can take up to 6 months for the pill to completely leave your body. It is all dependent on how long you were taking the pill beforehand. And the only "pregnancy boosters" are to drink lots of water, eat healthy, and to be very aware of your menstrual cycle as you are the most fertile the four days before and after.

None, i think. It is difficult to take medicine with out doctor's prescription especially for the case like this. Just think that you are doing it for the future baby, so we should be sure even it is just a start. I had taken pregnancy booster but prescribed by my OB gyne.

THERE'S NOTHING BETTER BUT TO CHECK IT OUT WITH YOUR DOCTOR ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE HAD ANY MEDICAL HISTORY THAT MAY AFFECT PREGNANCY. THOUGH THERE ARE SOME MEDICINES AVAILABLE OVER THE COUNTER ONE IS FOLIC ACID. ASIDE FROM SUSTAINING A HEALTHY PREGNANCY THIS ALSO HELP THE BABY IN TERMS OF BRAIN DEVELOPMENT.
