Friday 12th of March 2010 05:39:18 PM why should you stop?
swimming as long does not consume your effort and not become to aggressive to your body it is perfectly right for you.
Swimming makes your body to maintain its shape and helps your kid to be relaxed and if you speak when you swim the baby hears better, as the water conduct more better the sound then through air.
But as I said it need to be a mild swimming.

Sunday 28th of February 2010 07:04:11 AM Swimming is completely safe. There are even classes for mothers-to-be, to attend for aquatic exercising. However, you will notice that the bigger you get, the harder it will be to manuever around. Don't be surprised if your breast stroke suffers a bit. Doctors suggest that you stick to your normal routines as much as possible, minus the bad habits of course!

Thursday 25th of February 2010 06:42:31 PM Actually, swimming is one exercise that is highly recommended as being safe and gentle on the body during this time as the water helps to support your body weight and makes keeping fit in water easier than keeping fit on land. You feel lighter and your muscles will be toned and stronger for delivery. Try the breastroke and add a pelvic squeeze when drawing legs closed to strengthen the pelvic area. Don't overdo it though and always stop when tired. Also drink lots of water to rehydrate you.

Monday 8th of March 2010 10:07:40 PM No, you can continue swimming while pregnant. In fact, it would be very good for you and your baby. It might even be much easier for you to swim than any other form of exercise. Don't forget to do warm-ups and cool-downs when you swim. Also speak with your doctor about this, just to be on the safe side.

Tuesday 2nd of March 2010 06:03:10 AM There is no kind of afraid to go swimming while pregnant, however the exercise only benefits the pregnant and the baby. However you should contact your doctor to know how many hours you can practice swimming.
