Tuesday 2nd of March 2010 06:00:50 AM Drinking large amounts of alcohol during pregnancy is highly detrimental to the health of the baby and may have irreversible consequences. If you plan to become pregnant or are pregnant, I advise you to stop drinking if it is hard not to drink seek help from a health professional.

Monday 8th of March 2010 10:06:07 PM If you want a baby, you have to stop drinking as soon as you a can. Whatever you take in while pregnant and breastfeeding will transfer to your child. Alcohol can cause birth defects that worsens as the amount of alcohol increases. Since you drink a lot already, cut it down as you start plan and until you do get pregnant. This way, when you stop completely, you won't miss it as much.

Thursday 25th of February 2010 06:39:05 PM Drinking during pregnancy can cause addiction in your baby once born, and survival rates for this are very slim. Drinking itself can cause premature labour, stillbirth and low birth weight, as well as increased risk of miscarriage. You shouldn't attempt to go cold turkey - rather monitor how much you drink and start cutting down. When you think you can, cut it out altogether and start taking prenatal vitamins and eating healthily. You should try to be teetotal for at least a couple of months before trying.

Tuesday 2nd of March 2010 01:30:57 PM If you are talking about drinking alcohol, definitely it will affect your baby. Alcohol intake while pregnant severely effects your baby and can cause all kinds of serious problems and defects. I think the best thing for you to do would be to kick the drinking habit before you get pregnant. It will be better for you and your baby!

Friday 12th of March 2010 05:51:50 PM drinking alcohol is something totally forbidden in a pregnancy.
It is definitely not healthy for the kid to consume even a little doses of alcohol, it affects the neuronal system of the baby and even can generate anomalies.
So I am pretty sure you can avoid this habit. As about quiting time, as soon the better.
good luck!
