Tuesday 2nd of March 2010 12:12:50 AM THE BABY IS PROTECTED IN YOUR PELVIS SURROUNDED BY AMNIOTIC FLUID. MEANING HE/SHE IS SAFE INSIDE YOUR WOMB HOWEVER, THIS IS THE PERIOD WHERE ORGASM IS SIMILAR TO CONTRACTIONS. THIS IS JUST NORMAL IN FACT YOU CAN HAVE INTERCOURSE UP TO THE LAST WEEK OF PREGNANCY. THOUGH YOU MUST BE AWARE THAT THE FLUID IS JUST PART OF YOUR ORGASM AND NOT THE AMNIOTIC FLUID. ONCE THE WATER BAG BROKE YOU HAVE TO CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.

Tuesday 16th of February 2010 07:37:06 PM I experienced it too before that's why some OB's recommend to refrain from sex when you are in the last trimestrial because of the annoying feeling in your vaginal wall. I suggest you to observe the size, color of your vagina, it usually appeared bigger and swelling during the 9th month. That means you are close to giving birth and since the baby is big, reproductive system is expanded almost ready for delivery. I noticed mine had swelling appearance though it's not painful but during sex there's annoying feeling. It wont affect pregnancy but you'll suffer from the pain and if you follow what your OB says; you can refrain from sex on the last trimestrial period.

Sunday 14th of February 2010 08:48:52 AM It need not harm your pregnancy provided you do not put a lot of pressure on your abdomen. Use a position which is comfortable and ask your husband to be gentle. Sex is a beautiful and fulfilling experience and gives the woman a lot of comfort to know that her man wants her no matter what her size and shape is.

Sunday 14th of February 2010 04:27:00 AM If it's making you uncomfortable then it is best that you consult your doctor. When I was pregnant I was still having sex with my husband until one week before I had my delivery but I din't feel any pain. The pain I believe will not be something considered harmful for your baby but this is a very critical time for you and your angel and you should take extra care. It pays to be extra cautious now.

Sunday 14th of February 2010 08:56:29 AM My gyna told me sex during pregnancy does not have any harmful effects. When I was in the final stages I felt so much more, not only during sex, as your body is preparing itself for the big challenge: giving birth.
If it continues to be painful check with your gyna or midwife to be sure nothing else is going on like for instance a bladder infection. Good luck with the last few weeks!

Sunday 14th of February 2010 05:12:40 PM after 8 months old of pregnancy the intercourse could affect the pregnancy , meaning that you can go into labor any time due to the contractions that appears in any intercourse.
Also the cervix could be opened, so the possibility to get some infections on the uterous are very higgh. that's why it is better to stop these acts until you deliver
