Wednesday 3rd of March 2010 09:20:28 AM Depending on the body of the woman, there are pregnancies that have sensitive situations. Some feel pains but others don't. Before using this heating pad, you must ask the opinion of your doctor. Having severe back pains during pregnancy might be a reason for something more. So you should really see a doctor before it gets complicated.

Wednesday 24th of February 2010 06:44:14 PM Heating pads should not cause problems as long as they are not the self-heating types that contain chemicals. You need to talk to your ob about suitable pain relief if you are struggling. If the pregnancy has brought on the pain, it is possible you have a pinched or compressed nerve. Bowen technique is successful at helping to relieve this - ask your Dr about a qualified practitioner in your area.

Wednesday 3rd of March 2010 10:18:28 AM If you are having a problem of back pain definitely using a heating pad would not affect your pregnancy. In fact you should initially use it to reduce your pain as frequently as possible. It is so because in future due to gain in weight your back pain will increase surely. So it is better to consult with doctor and start with some safe and relax providing treatments.

Sunday 7th of March 2010 03:41:32 AM Pregnancy is joy but filled with uncomfortable issues. Yes I know the feeling of back pain and other pain involving the rest of your body. Yes, it is alright to use heating pad and it is safe. However, if you are using a heating pad that uses electricity please check with your doctor first or use it with caution.
