Pill

I am on a pill for nearly 10 years now, 19 to 29. I am still not ready for a pregnancy for professional reasons. Will long term use of pill effect my future pregnancy?

Tuesday 2nd of March 2010 05:47:21 AM While many people think that taking the pill effect the extra time to get pregnant, I can tell by my experience that took almost 20 years for the pill and got pregnant when I left immediately. Most of the cause lies in the stress and excesses that we practice in our daily life.

Wednesday 3rd of March 2010 09:02:35 AM Yes, in my own opinion taking pills for a long time will greatly affect your pregnancy. I had an experience with my friend. She used pills for 10 years and when she stopped she got pregnant. But when she gave birth, she almost died because the placenta of the baby got rotten inside her womb. And the finding was: it was caused by long use of pills.

Sunday 7th of March 2010 02:17:56 AM THERE ARE SEVERAL STUDIES MADE ON THIS ALREADY AND IT IS FOUND TO BE UNAPPEALING. THE WORST OF THE MATTER IS THAT IT WILL CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO YOUR SEXUAL DESIRE. IF THAT IS THE CASE, HOW WOULD YOU EXPECT TO THINK PREGNANCY WHEN YOUR DESIRE FOR SEX HAS SOURED.

Wednesday 24th of February 2010 06:21:51 PM The medical answer to this is no. Infact, many women who choose to use the pill will find that conceiving is easier than those women who do not use it. This is because of the hormone regulating effect that the pill has on the body. Your fertility returns to normal within days of stopping the pill.

Wednesday 3rd of March 2010 03:45:17 PM As you are still young I thing it should not be any problem, but you have to be patience if nothing happens in the first 1-3 months or maybe more. The period of fertility depends on many factors, and taking pills is one of them.
I wish you good luck and best chances of being pregnant!
