No as the oils deal with continuous body and skin contact there would be as such no effect on pregnancy. Now a lot of exertion that you are suffering from would not matter a lot.But at the time when pregnancy arises you should try to avoid much extra work. Also if chemicals are used in your daily schedule,it might affect you in future.

Aromatherapy oils can pose a risk if pregnant by triggering early labour- so unless you are trained in this, avoid using them and atick to almond or another base oil for massage. A qualified aromatherapist will be able to tell you which oils in particular you should avoid. Your employer has a right to protect you from harm, and as this is a hazard to you in this condition, you need to make the necessary changes.

My cousin/best friend works in a salon and on her 4th month of pregnancy. She handles hair coloring at the most and sometimes just do hair trimming. We've asked a lot of doctors about this and found no inconclusive reports to say that it has bad affects. So I guess it's just common sense to see and feel what is wrong. But so far, my cousin is just doing fine, based on her last check up.

I have many acquaintances who are working in salons. A friend of mine is pregnant and is working in a beauty salon. Nothing affects her pregnancy. If the oil smell that you inhale contains harsh ingredients, then you should take avoid it. You can wear mask during work hours so you cannot inhale the oil smell.
