It is normal to happened, but if disturb you , you can talk with the doctor to prescribe you something for stopping it.i have heard some women that had such problems even after the delivery. Yes, it's true, many changes can take place in a woman's body during pregnancy: hair loss, acne, diabetes, bleeding gums. Your best bet is to consult with your OB-GYN as soon as possible. Not only to find out whether or not this is a side-effect of the gestation period that will, most likely, go away after giving birth, but also to get referrals to a dentist or specialist if necessary.

This is normal, one of the many things that is normal for a pregnant woman is to have skin rashes and weaker teeth. I remember having two teeth broken when I was pregnant the doctor said it's normal because the baby is absorbing my calcium. That is why I have to take calcium supplements. Basically a lot of changes will happen to your body and bleeding gums is just one of them. Increase your Vit.C, Vit.D and iron intake. These will help lessen the bleeding of your gums

I didn't have bleeding gum while I was pregnant. I think it's not a big concern if you are taking your recommended vitamins and go to your monthly pre-natal check-up. Sometimes our gum bleed because of the way we brush our teeth. Other factors are also some infections like gingivitis which is not common for pregnant women or not pregnant women who have proper hygiene.

NOT ALL WOMEN SUFFER THIS SO CALLED PREGNANCY GINGIVITIS. YOU MUST HAVE A HIGH PROGESTERONE LEVEL WHICH IF NOT TAKEN CARE OF IMMEDIATELY OTHERWISE YOU DEVELOP PERIODONTITIS. GET ON WITH YOUR DOCTOR NOW AND HAVE HIM REMOVE ALL THOSE CAVITIES. AND DON'T FORGET TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT THIS GUM BLEEDING. HE SHOULD BE AWARE WHILE DOING THE CLEANING OF YOUR TEETH.

I did not suffer from this but one of my friends did. She went to see a dentist for her problem who gave her the advice to brush with a soft tooth brush and sensitive tooth paste and not to overdo the brushing but be more gentle than you would normally have done it. It helped my friend hope it will help you too!
