Is Child To Staff Ratio Matters A Lot In Day Care Center?

I am Jame and I am a single parent of 1 years old daughter. I have managed to locate a fine day care center for baby boy. The staff is good and conditions are perfect there. No health and security issues at all. Only thing that bothers to me is child to staff ratio there. They have too many kids in a single class. Please suggest me which child to staff ratio will be best for my baby.
