My Son Is Having Huge Red Diaper Rash On His Groin.

Hi, My 1 year old son is having a sever diaper rash which appears to be red in color and it has patch appearance on groin and genetilia. Sometimes it's also spread on lower abdomen. I have tried everything but it keeps on appearing again and again. Please help me to get rid of it.

When there was intances that it happened to my son, I only used petroleum jelly after taking him a good bath. I refrain from using diaper first to prevent the rashes. And from time to time I continously apply petroleum jelly or baby oil to lessen the reddish. And so far it suddenly disappear.
