Craving Beer
|
I have never been fond of the way that beer tastes. I know that it isn't good for me while I am pregnant, but I have been craving it so badly. My mouth literally waters when I think about it. Why is this happening? Is it normal?

Sunday 21st of February 2010 06:39:35 PM Cravings can be very strange indeed and is your body's way of telling you what you need. Beer is full of B vitamins, so perhaps eating brewer's yeast on toast may help and taking prenatal vitamins will ensure you are getting your daily quota of vitamins. You should not consume anything alcoholic, and if the craving gets really bad, try alcohol free beer.

Tuesday 2nd of March 2010 11:43:51 AM Cravings are just a part of pregnancy. Everyday, I had to have a salad, fried mushrooms, and bacon cheeseburger. I ate tomatoes like crazy, and I could go on all day, but this is about you. Have you given any thought about neer-beer, i hate beer myself, so I don't know if it's a good substute; but I think it would have to be better than the actual thing. The only other suggestion I have is beer bread. It tastes awesome, and maybe it would satisfy your craving in a healthier way. Will the beer bread or rolls the alcohol is cooked off. Good luck, I hope I helped

Wednesday 3rd of March 2010 12:02:47 AM It is happening to you because your body has been used to it. The more it is forbidden, the more you crave for it. But just think that you have to sacrifice a little for your baby. If you want the baby to come out healthy, then you should stay health also. It is not very normal. Think of something else instead of beer.

There are some cravings that is just good and there are some which gives you some negative results damaging to you and your baby. Drinking beer is definitely not a good cravings as this might result into Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
