wearing a high heel does not affect your pregnancy but you will experimented some back pains, heavily. There are some pains wheater you like it or not, but helping with wearing the high hills is criminal. You will see for yourself. And trust me , when you have a huge belly in front of you, wearing high hills will make you look like a whale on hills.Pardon my argument but it is not very sexy image!

Wearing high heels can actually affect your lower back area. It changes your posture and constricts blood flow in your legs. During pregnancy, the lower back becomes soft and vulnerable to health problems. Not only that, your feet could swell during pregnancy. Wearing comfortable flats is better for day-to-day footwear. If wearing high heels is unavoidable, you should wear them for only a few minutes, then quickly change to flats later.

Due to the fact that the ligaments in your back tend to soften during pregnancy (these ligaments control your lower back), leaving your lower back more susceptible to being stretched and damaged. In additon to altering your posture, high heel shoes will only add extra strain on this weakened area, causing back problems. Therefore, stick with heels that are no more than 1 or 1 1/2 inches high, and leave the higher heels for special occassions.

Heals are made to make us feel beautiful regardless of what our conditions be. If you think you are comfortable and relaxed wearing heels during pregnancy and that you are 110% (or more) sure that you are capable and healthy enough to carry the life inside your womb in heels, then why not.

It isn't risky wearing heels - yet! Once your bump starts to grow, wearing heels can play havoc with your back as well as putting pressure on your feet which also suffer as a result of the extra weight they have to carry. Smart, comfy shoes and sandals are a better option and try and go for small wide heels and wedges no more than an inch or so to avoid damaging your back. Heels are also a safety issue - the bigger you get, the more likely you are to teeter and fall as your center of gravity shifts with your bump. Be sensible and enjoy heels once the baby is born.
