How Do I Choose A Pre-school?

My wife and I just moved across town to be closer to my job and now we are looking for a new pre-school. We were lucky that our last pre-school was the one she attended as a child, so it was a natural choice. Now it's too much of a drive and we are stuck trying to find a new one. There are so many listed online, how do we choose the best one for us?
