How Long Should I Breastfeed My Baby?
|
I have a 15 month old little girl and I am breastfeeding her still once every few hours, and all through the night. I was wondering how long I should continue to breastfeed?

Sunday 11th of April 2010 06:56:33 PM Many experts recommend breastfeeding for as long as you and your baby both want to. Just be sure that your daughter's nutritional needs are being met. At 15 months your daughter should be getting a large portion of her nutrition from table foods. Otherwise, there's no need to worry too much about how long she continues to want to nurse. I have breastfed 4 children and they all self-weaned between the ages of 16 months to 2 years.
