Foot Odor
|
This is my first pregnancy. It is 98 degrees outside and I have noticed that I have really strong foot odor. I've never had this problem before. I'm guessing it is hormonal and related to my pregnancy. I like to wear sandals in the summer time but I'm really self-conscious about this problem. Is there anything I can do to reduce the odor?

Friday 19th of February 2010 06:42:24 PM Keep your feet clean and dry at all times, use a special foot wash and spray which is anti-bacterial and acts like an anti-perspirant. Talc will help to absorb the excess sweat. Walk barefoot around the house as much as possible and if there is a real sweating problem, your Dr can prescribe you a special spray that helps to stop your feet sweating so much.

Tuesday 2nd of March 2010 03:49:42 PM the only way to do this is to wash your feet many times a day, and you could also use some odor powder for babies.I used that one when it needed.
As you said in the pregnancy due to the hormons, the odor is more pregnant as usual, but don't worry it will be gone after delivery.

Sunday 28th of February 2010 12:51:47 AM A great way to combat and reduce foot odor, is by adding a small amount of baking soda on the sole of your feet and in between your toes.
Sprinkle a little in your sandals as well. In addition to being safe, baking soda is a great odor neutralizer and has been proven to fight off most offensive odors.

Saturday 6th of March 2010 08:38:31 AM There are a lot of foot powder available in the market but this is the first time I heard of foot odor during pregnancy. Anyway, my son have a really terrible foot problem and what I did to remove it is to boil guava leaves until the water is brownish. Let it cool for a while and within tolerable heat, I soak his foot for about 30 minutes. I do this once a week until it totally disappear
