Is A Background Check Really Necessary?

When it comes to babysitting, is a background check actually needed? Most babysitters will start at age 13 or 13. They really won't have, or shouldn't have anything on their record, so would this just be a waste of time?

Background check is very necessary to know that your babysitter is capable and trustful for the job. Please take note that she will be the second mother of your shild once you are at work. Hence, if you cannot background check, you can observe her for two days if she is really fitted for the job.
