Does Intestinal Malrotation Have A Cure?

My daughter was born with intestinal malrotation. The doctors have recommended surgery and they are very confident she will recover fully. She is in the neonatal care unit in the hospital. Will she continue to live a normal life after the surgery? Can it lead to any further disorders or life threatening complications?
