Changes In Breasts
|
I was prepared for my breasts to grow fuller during pregnancy, but I have been noticing other changes as well. My nipples seem to be getting larger and darker and I have noticed some hairs growing around them. Is this typical? Are these changes permanent?

Friday 26th of February 2010 05:49:43 PM After delivery you breast will be full of milk and still bigger nipples and brownish too.
But in time they will get the color back and they will decrease small by small until they will be as much as they were before.Or pretty the same.
as about hair it happens. It is because the male hormone estrogen is plenty of.That;s why the hair is growing and it is strong!

Sunday 28th of February 2010 01:33:25 AM It is quite normal for your nipple and areola to double in size and darken. This is because of the increased blood circulation flowing to your breast.
In additon, those darkened areolas are a great way to guide baby to the breast if you opt to nurse.
It's a common fact that pregnancy and breastfeeding changes a womans body, breast included.
So while you will see a slight change to normalcy for sometime after the pregnancy, be prepared for changes that may become permanent.

Monday 1st of March 2010 04:15:49 PM Your breasts become tender, painful, and yes your nipples get larger and darker. Yes, hairs can grow around them. It is all part of your body preparing for your baby. If you breastfeed your baby, they will stay this way until you are finished. They may never completely go back to what they were before, but will get close to what they were. I found that the more kids I had, the longer it took for my breasts to return to what they were before.

Saturday 6th of March 2010 06:25:04 AM Those are normal and there is nothing to be worried about. Those are part of being pregnant and more changes as you get nearer and nearer. So don't be surprised and don't panic. Yes, all of those will disappear soon as you give birth. Those are not permanent and everything will go back the way it was before.

Friday 19th of February 2010 05:53:29 PM These changes are very normal, and many women find that they leak as well. Hair is a sign of testosterone which indicates that you could be having a boy. Do not remove these hairs as they should fall out themselves after the birth. Expect these changes to stay a while before going, especially when breastfeeding. Once you have stopped, it can take upto a year for your breasts to return to normal.
