Is Walking On Tip-toes A Problem Amongst Children?

A friend’s son used to walk beautifully when he had just started but now he walks on his toes and trips very often. I don’t think she is noticing it or even if she has she is just ignoring it. Do you think I should bring it to her attention so she could have it checked?
