Does My Child Have Selective Mutism?

My daughter is in kindergarten and knows all her nursery rhymes and her alphabets. She tries to participate in school and the teacher says she stands up to talk but when she looks around she just gets scared and doesn’t say anything. Does it sound like a behaviour problem or a disorder?
