Is Cooking Dinner Part Of A Baby-sitter's Duties?
Can I trust a baby-sitter with preparing the children's evening meal. What if they're not hygienic enough or what if they burn the house down? What do people usually do - prepare everything before they leave or expect the babysitter to make dinner as part of the job?

Yes, they are part of her job especially if she is going to take dinner also in the house. And, beside one of her duties is to let the baby eat. So, preparing the food for the children is one of her duties. Just have an interview about preparing meal for them, and state your preferences on how to prepare the food.
