Is A Confidential Background Check Legal?

I know of companies who conduct background checks for very reasonable prices and because they are very professional I feel I can trust them. But I dont want to violate someone's privacy. Is it legal to employ someone to do a confidential background check on a potential babysitter?

Yes, they are legal. It is still very essential to background check as certain person whom you want to hire especially baby sitters. Please bear in mind that they will serve as replacement mothers in our behalf to take care of our sons and daughters while we are away. So, we must ensure that they are the right person whom we can trust.
