What If The Parents Decide Not To Pay The Baby-sitter At The End Of The Evening

My 13 year old daughter was baby-sitting for a couple and at the end of the shift they accused her of being careless and decided not to pay. My daughter however feels she did her job very well and took care of the children as best as she could. I am concerned about my daughter's emotional safety. Should I approach the parents myself?
