What Is More Cost Effective, A Home-based Childcare Or Daycare Center?
|
I've been trying to get a handle on what is more cost effective, taking my child to a daycare center where snacks, diapers and any other materials are provided, or taking her to a home-based daycare where I will have to bring everything she needs plus contribute other essentials like kleenex and hand-sanitizer on top of the childcare rate. While the cost of the daycare center is more, it is all inclusive (from daily needs to trips to the pool) where it seems that the home-provider may have a price gauging system going on. What is more cost effective, an all inclusive daycare center or a home-based daycare provider?

Friday 12th of March 2010 12:36:06 AM For me, I will choose an all inclusive daycare center rather than a home based daycare provider. Sometimes if the cost of an item or services is much higher than the other one, you choose the one with good service. Sometimes it is better in inclusive daycare center because they really tackle on the development of the child where teachers are more experienced because of course of the high cost. However, in home based which is more cheaper than the other, you may think that the learner provider is not that cozy or experienced. Otherwise, you can research too for more feasible answer.
