Can My Child Attend A Regular Preschool?
My son is has a severe hearing impairment in his left ear. I took him for a preschool screen and while he met or exceeded the expectations for a 3 year old, the teacher recommended that he attend a school that better caters to hearing impaired. The nearest school for children with hearing impairments is 49 miles away. Can my son attend a regular preschool?

If that is my son I will let him attend to school the better caters to hearing impaired. Honestly, most the pre-schoolers are on the stage of being mischievous at this age. I may think that my son can be bullied or can be teased if he can't hear well. I will protect my son on that bullying. If you let him attend school for hearing impaired, he will be cared and treated fairly on his behalf. I may think and feel not worried that my son is in a fair environment where he can not develop insecurities at early stage.
