Is There A Strategic Place To Sit In A Restaurant?

My husband and I are debating where the best place to sit in a restaurant is. We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. He says that by the bathroom is the place to be because of potty breaks and cleaning up hands and faces. I say we should stay around a window so that the kids can look out and hopefully be a little less unruly. Is there a strategic place to sit in a restaurant when you have kids?
