Does The Americans With Disabilities Act Apply In Private Childcare Centers?

My 3 year old uses a walker to get around. He does pretty well but has a hard time when there are obstacles like steps. He's still working on mastering these skills with his walker. I am considering going back to work soon, and I have always stayed home with my son because of his particular needs. Now that he is older, I think that he needs a chance to socialize. I am just beginning to look for childcare, and it is extremely important that I find the right place for him. Does the Americans with Disabilities Act apply in private childcare centers?
