10 Days Of Antibiotics And My Daughter Still Has An Ear Infection.

My daughter has take a full course of antibiotics and she is still tugging at her ear. I took her back to the doctor today and he gave her another kind of antibiotic. Is it common for an ear infection to need more than one course of treatment?
