My Son Will Not Fall Asleep On His Own.
|
When my son was younger, we would give him a bottle and he'd fall asleep as soon as he finished it. Now that the bottle is long since a thing of the past, we still have to rock or sing to him every night. As soon as the bottle was gone, he refused to go down on his own. I hate the thought of letting him "cry it out", but I don't know what else to do. How do we get our son to fall asleep on his own?

Friday 12th of March 2010 06:43:56 AM It is very nice to talked to your son about thier behaviour. Maybe you can practice this to your son. We treated our son as a grown up kid. I talked to him about simple things that a normal and mature child does. Even he was still one month old, I talked to him the usual way, seem grown up kid. Then, until now that he is three years old, he seem so grown up at 3. Maybe you train a little while your son to be treated as a grown up kid. Read him books before sleeping instead of rocking or singing him song.
