When children are under the age of one year old, their body might mistake one of the proteins in eggs as harmful. This can put your child in shock which can sometimes be fatal. When considering introducing eggs to your childs diet you should wait until they are at least one year old. However if there is a family history of food allergies you should wait until they are two years of age.
