Fruit Juice Upsets Her Tummy.
|
My daughter has always had a sensitive stomach. At her 6 month check up, her doctor recommended introducing diluted juices into her diet. The juice seems to upset her tummy. Is it nutritionally necessary to give a baby fruit juice?

Saturday 27th of February 2010 11:06:59 PM No. I can't believe your doctor advised it either. Juice is sugar-packed and has been said to contribute to the obesity problems facing todays youth. There is absolutely no reason to give your child juice. Fresh fruit is a much better option. Any soft fruit, bananas, mango etc., is a more nutritional option than juice.

Friday 12th of March 2010 07:02:19 AM Yes, but since your baby is not used for fruit juice. I suggest do not offer it to her for now, maybe in her older years when she is really eating solid food already. Try some cereals and other soft fruits in her menu. Don't be so conscious about the baby, about they eat and used, just let her what you are eating, too so that she will not be choosy later on.
