I Want To Introduce Meat, Should I Start With Poultry?
I am anxious to start introducing meat into my baby's diet. I am thinking about pureeing it and adding it to some mixed veggies for a trial run. Is it best to start with poultry and would pureeing be the best route to take?

Yes it is a great idea for you to start feeding your baby with chicken meat. But if she still has no teeth, try to make the chicken fillet softer and if possible finer. For some babies, they love it when their food is pureed. So, yes, you may also puree chicken meat together with cooked vegetables.

The poultry is the recommended way to start with when introducing meat to a baby's diet. Add some light veggies, like carrots and potatoes and mix about 20 grams of boiled meat with them. You can blend them together and obtain a puree that the baby will swallow easily. Later on you can add other types of meat to the diet, but until the baby passes eight or nine months it's better to stick only with poultry
